RBERN onDemand is a curated collection of resources designed to assist New York State educators in enhancing instruction and programming for English Language Learners (ELLs). It is a collaborative initiative between the New York State Education Department’s (NYSED) Office of Bilingual Education and World Languages (OBEWL) and its eight Regional Bilingual Education Resource Networks (RBERNs). RBERN onDemand aims to support districts and schools in creating educational environments that are inclusive, culturally responsive, and academically rigorous for ELLs.
